BREAKING NEWS
As you can see the city of Protvino is now occupied by North Podagorsk forces. It was just after four when the PLA crossed the river and the attack on the city began. This attack, although anticipated still took the South Podagorsk Army by surprise and while fighting continues South of the city the forces who occupied the defensive positions north of the city fled
without firing a single shot. The astounding speed with which the North have taken control of Protvino raises questions as to how it was so easily taken.

However these questions will have to take a back seat as the whole world is waiting for the United Nations to make its decision in an emergency session scheduled later tonight.

With the international community failing to take decisive action before, the South Podagorsk people have put their hopes in the hands of a private military contractor. This group left its base when hostilities broke out and is enroute as I speak.
