It came to our attention this morning that one of our main Operation Reality email servers used for sending out automated emails from various Operation Reality websites was not working correctly as some of our more astute users brought to our attention this morning, we thank them for that. We did some investigating on our end this morning and found that likely for a couple days or so now users apparently may not have been receiving account activation emails, password reset requests, subscription notifications and various other automatic notification emails of the like. The sheer volume of the emails being sent out day and night from our various sites and the sharp increase in traffic and new users of late likely had something to do with the over load and resulting mail transmission issues.

Naturally our technicians swiftly resolved the problem this morning and all our official Operation Reality sites (.org, .com, .net) should now be sending emails timely and normally. We truly regret having let this issue slip under the radar for as long as we did and not having noticed it or having it brought to our attention sooner. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused any new or old users alike. Remember, we are kept very busy here at Operation Reality and sometimes we miss some things. That is why we always encourage and remind our sites users and visitors to contact us immediately if they notice any issues or have any bug reports, feedback, suggestions or requests.
